A letter from Nisarg Patel, Chief Executive Officer

Atatva didn’t start as a business idea. It began as a feeling, a quiet discomfort with the way things were, and a strong belief that we could do things differently. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the Indian spice trade, I saw the care that went into every step. I also saw the challenges, such as lack of transparency, inconsistency in quality, and systems that hadn’t kept up with the times.
I always felt there had to be a better way to honor our roots while building something for the future.
That thought stayed with me as I pursued my Masters in Management and Marketing in the United States. It was a time of learning, growing, and seeing how the world operates at its best. I worked with companies big and small, gained exposure across markets, and understood what it takes to build trust, not just a brand.
When I came back, I didn’t want to simply follow the path. I wanted to shape it.
That is how Atatva came to life, a new-age brand built on old-school values. A place where purity isn’t compromised, technology is used for good, and every spice we offer carries the essence of something real. We are here to make life simpler, better, and more honest for people, for partners, and for the planet.
And here’s my promise to you: I won’t be perfect, but I will listen. I will lead with care, treat our customers and team with respect, and grow Atatva with passion, humility, and integrity every single day.
